Crop Circles:
Majestic, Magical & Mysterious!

March 19, 2020

It is with great disappointment and an abundance of caution that we will POSTPONE our Crop Circles Fundraising event due to the Coronavirus pandemic.  Though there has been no state mandate regarding this size gathering, it is prudent that we reschedule this program in these uncertain times.

The Crop Circles program promises to be a good one and we are sorry for any disappointment.  However, we have contacted John Root, our speaker, and are working to reschedule for a time that is safe to do so. We will be sure to keep you updated here as plans evolve for 2021.

A presentation by John Root, engaging naturalist and educator.  Join us in learning about these designs that have been appearing with increasing sophistication during the past three decades in farmers’ fields and other locations all over the world. Hear about effects on electronics, soils, animals and human visitors!  You are invited to share your reactions to these images and to speculate about how and why they are manifesting on our landscape!

Town-Wide Tag Sale

June 13, 2020

Unfortunately, the 2020 Town Wide Tag Sale event has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.  Look for us next year when we will hopefully be living in better times.  Until then, stay well.

Once again we will be participating in the Haddam Junior Women's Club Town-Wide Tag Sale.  In addition to tag-sale items, we will have a large selection of plants grown by our Garden Club members and also donated by local farms & nurseries. This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, so please come out and support us!  Look for us at our usual spot in the parking lot of Haddam Elementary School on Rt. 154.  We'll have treasures galore - you won't go home empty-handed!
